Hi,
We are Geoff & Pam Pegler. We have been Ministering at Wonthaggi Baptist since March 2007. We really enjoy country communities, both having grown up in northern Victoria. We now have a commitment to ministry in these areas.
Prior to coming to Wonthaggi, we had ministered at Lakes Entrance Baptist Church for 11 years. In a previous life, Geoff was a Communications Technician. Pam trained as a Nurse and continues to enjoy that career.

We are experiencing our first stage as ‘Empty Nesters’, our 3 children Michelle 26, Kylie 23, and Nathan 21 having flown the coop. We are both keen musicians, love water sports and life and travel in remote areas of Australia.

We trained for Ministry in 1993-5 at Bible College of Victoria. Geoff (Bachelor of Ministries) and Pam a variety of subjects in Bible, Pastoral Care and Christian Ethics.
We have had extensive involvement in Pastoral Care and Counselling, Kids Ministry, Music Ministry and Teaching. Geoff had several years part time as an Industrial Chaplain and trauma Counsellor. Pam has also worked as a Practice Nurse in recent years.

It is our desire to continue to develop a welcoming, active Church, true to our slogan “Loving God – Loving people”.
